Wayne,

Nice thought,
But how does apple know that you are the real owner of the phone if you go back
to them to get the device unbricked?
Assuming you were able to get it back from the purp

It's kind of like this when it comes to tracking your phone, let's suppose that
the guy that steals the iPhone does it for a few different reasons.
Maybe he needs a new screen or if he needs a new battery. I think you're
getting the idea.If you do what I suggested before about sending a message for
a brick command you could have a brick all command that would brick all the
conpponents in the phone, once again, only apple could unbrick all this.
I believe once word got around that criminals wouldn't be so interested in
stealing phones unless they just like taking things from people.

Hello All,

This is an interesting thread.

You can use iCloud to lock your phone and track it with the Find My App from
any device. You can simply log-in to https://icloud.com and lock the device
remotely and see it’s last location and when it was either connected to
Wifi or Cellular.
