A couple of things to remember. If you are walking, your arm has to
be moving. On the treadmill, for example, with your hands on the
rests, the watch doesn't know you're walking. With a shopping cart,
the same. When I tread I keep my phone in my pocket so I can have my
hands on the grips. Otherwise, my body knows I exercised but the
watch hasn't a clue.
Same on a bike.
when we do high intensity interval workouts with the trainer, I turn
on a third-party app to track the workout. Otherwise the watch
activity doesn't recognize it. When you reach your goal, it won't go
to zero; it will just add to 100%.
good luck!
