If you receive internet through Charter or Comcast/Xfinity, you can
receive mobile service on Verizon for just $12 for a gig of data.
Calls and texts are free as is texting to international numbers. For
my Canadian friend, these cable companies bought spectrum many years
ago and sold it to Verizon on the promise that they could buy service
wholesale at a steep discount in the future.

I use Xfinity Internet for $20 a month and pay $12 split between two lines.
