You could download Play Music from Google and listen to music, especially if you have a YouTube or Play Music subscription. You can also use the Google Assistant and ask it to play music. I usually just use Siri, but I've also used my Google Assistant to do this. I assume it'll work with both Play Music and Apple Music. I have both at the moment, since I have a free trial for Apple Music, but I'm typically using Play Music.
