have you checked "Purchase history? It is in the app store in your
account. You will find payments in progress and then transactions that
have been done in the past, so you micht check if the apple music
subscription has been paid.
It happened to me once, that apple did not renew my subscription at
first, but the other day they tried again and it went fine.

was working earlier in the day doesn’t mean a problem didn’t develop
after you used it, such as the credit card company thinking it
detected some fraudulent activity or your credit limit being reached.

Tonight I received an email saying that my apple music subscription
couldn't be renewed because there is a problem with my credit card.
The email asked me to update my payment method, but when I looked at
the info, it is the same card I have used for this purpose for years.
I know the card is good because I used it earlier today. Am I being
scammed? Is there some way to verify what's going on?
