Hello Hank, Just out of curiocity, why don't you use the Audible app for your Audible books? It's free and works very well and you can download any of the books from your Audible library directly to your phone and listen to them. Audible supports Airplay and you can use the headset controls for the usual stuff like play/pause etc, next chapter, previous chapter etc.
If you still want to use the music app, just install the Audible Download Manager on your PC, select iTunes as your preferred listening method and after youd wonload a book or the parts of a book the Audible Download Manager will automatically add then to iTunes and they appear in your Books lirary. Now just either select to sync all books or to sync selected books, go to the Books tab under your device, check it with the spacebar and then tab to the list of books, check the ones you want to sync to your iPhone and sync.
