Could it be that the voice keeps changing because the iphones are going through a change due to pubity, They are now of that age range where these changes do start happening!

It’s the same as your client I just like the Siri male voice to work cinsistently, it only seems to happen when I restart my phone or if I’m using a braille display and I turn the speech back on after turning off my display.
