Please, everyone dealing with this, write or call Apple Accessibility. I've been working with someone who has an iPhone 11. Because of her hearing, she needs the Siri Male voice to be her VoiceOver voice as well as the Siri voice. I even walked through with her yesterday and deleted Samantha from the rotor voices, and made sure Siri Male was checked for Siri's voice, for spoken content Speech, and for VoiceOver default voice. No rotor languages were selected, so I thought, finally, we are done with this nonsense.
This morning, she wrote and said Samantha was back. Apple is telling her it is a software issue, not hardware, but 13.6.1 did not solve it and I have an ugly feeling that 14 won't either.
