I love having my wireless charging pads, yes, plural. One is by my computer and one by my recliner. I do not think that they charge as fast as my cable, so do occasionally charge with the cable. I got one at Wal-Mart for $19.99 and one at the Salvation Army for 99 ยข. Both work. My phone does not over heat. I keep a plastic cover over them when not in use to keep dust out.
Mine are five volts. I could have gotten a 10 volt one at Wal-Mart for $29.99, but I'd rather a little slow than fast.
