I have an iPhone 8 with no sim card. I use it with all of my apps except I can not make an outgoing call. I can only text with people that have idevices, but, other than that, everything works perfectly. i can answer calls, but, just not make them. My husband has an iPad, and he can make and receive calls on it while on wifi. I often wonder why that is not the case with an iphone with no sim.
