I have a strange situation where, upon finishing a message with
FlickType in the Message app, I swipe up and hold with one finger to
dismiss the FlickType keyboard. Sometimes I can get it to go away,
allowing me to swipe right to send. Other times though, I somehow
activate the Control Center, and this has the peculiar effect of
deactivating my home button. I can't use it to wake up the phone or do
anything else. I end up having to reboot the phone to make the home
button work again. I am on an iPhone 6S running the latest build of
iOS 13. Any suggestions on how to dismiss the FlickType keyboard
without launching the Control Center, or, if this happens anyway, any
ideas on how I can reactivate my home button?

Thanks in advance,

Joe
