Hi Simon. I've been quite happy with my Trekz Titaniums from Aftershokz. In fact, I've never felt the need to try any other brand. They have built in voice guidance, are easy to use and do a good job sonically. I don't use them to hear audio dramas or music if I don't have to. I much prefer my AirPods. However, if I'm walking or out where I might easily loose my AirPods, they're great for walking, reading books with synthetic speech, listenning to podcasts, etc. when you need your actual hearing, the trade of worse sound quality is well worth it. The other down side of these headsets is that the microphones aren't great. You can be understood on phone calls but that's about it. I wouldn't want to be interviewed using them to record my speech. Hope that helps.
