So Apple announced several months ago that they would be allowing stereo
recording in IOS 14 giving app developers access to both mics. The
ferite Studio app is the first that I've found to take advantage of that
opportunity. You can get it for free and use it to make recordings under
10 minutes I think. they do have premium offerings, but you don't need
those to make stereo recordings. I'm expecting other apps to offer this
soon like HQ recorder which is the one I use. The audio quality is
really good, so if this is something you're interested in, go give it a
spin.
