Yes, once the rotor is turned to handwriting, do a 3-finger swipe down. It will go from lower case to upper case, if you swipe down again it wil lgo to numbers and if you swipe down again it will go to punctuation. If you wanted punctuation you could also swipe up once from lower case as you then get to punctuation right away.
