Hi, I've heard from others that labeling in iOS6 is sometimes
problematic. Some have said that it works after a few tries though. Go
figure. Also, if you do get it working, you will lose the label if you
move the app to a new location.

Hi. I listened to an AppleVis podcast on changing the names of icons on
the home screen. My intention was to use this procedure to change the
name of the All Recipes dot com app. Because “all recipes” is one word
it is pronounced like “allreesypes” and it drives me nuts.
I double tapped on “all recipes” and held it down until I heard the
several tones and the text field popped up. I deleted what was in the
field and then wrote the two words “all recipes” with a space in
between. I then, as directed in the podcast, tapped “save” rather than
“done.” But nothing changed.
Is there a change in iOs6 so that this procedure does not work? Who can
help? Thanks.
Sandy
