Hello, Are you getting the message that your email address is invalid after you sign in to Docs or before? From the description given, it sounds like it is occurring beforehand. If this is the case I would ensure that the whole part of the email is entered with the at gmail.com suffix and that the password is entered correctly. I would also recommend using the docs app as it may be an easier experience. If you are being told that the email address is invalid after signing in then perhaps access to view the document is not present. I would confirm with the owner that you have access with the email address you are signing in with.
