I'm also getting an apple watch. I'm leaning toward the 6 because of the somewhat faster processor, blood oxygen tracking, and the ECG. Most likely I won't be using those features extensively, but i'm keeping the watch for 2 years at least, so why not start with the best I can get at the time.
