I got my IPhone 5 last Sunday, and let us say, I know more about it than I did, but have a lot more to go. Thanks to Anna Dresner and Dean Martineau's book, this list, and other tutorials, I will learn it.
My first question: When I call one of these automated services where I have to press a given number for a given result, VoiceOver volume drops off to almost nothing. It is better on the speaker phone than on the earbuds, where I barely can tell it is saying anything as I slide my finger around the screen, trying to find that number. I can hear it better when the automated system stops talking, but I then have very little time to do anything before it disconnects. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
