Andrew Try adjusting the volume control. I hear that sometimes the volume of Voiceover can get knocked down to 0. I have just gone through the setup process and elected to restore my apps etc from my most recent iCloud backup. Towards the end of the setup process I was asked to download and instal the latest version of the iOS which I did. Upon completion of that process the iPhone showed me a screen indicating how much of the iCloud restore was left and the length of time it would take. Now that that has completed, Voiceover is still loaded because I can hear the clicks but there is no speech. I have tried double tapping the screen with 3 fingers in case speech had been turned off but that wouldn’t appear to be the case. I have even tried turning Voiceover off and back on by triple clicking the side button but all I get is clicks and no speech. Does anyone know what has happened and how I can get speech back please? Many thanks for any help, Andrew -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
