That is exactly what I am saying.  Once you upgrade that app if there is a 
problem your screwed.  So this is why I would set  app updates to manual.  Then 
you have the control over what gets updated and when.  No I am not saying don't 
ever update them.

I'm sure Dennis isn't saying people shouldn't upgrade their apps at all. I 
assume he's saying people might want to wait until they hear from others that 
the upgrade is OK before they upgrade their apps themselves, at least for their 
most important apps.
