Hi Sandy, Guided Access can be used in situations where you are letting someone use your device, but you want them to use only one program. For instance, you could keep a small child from accidentally leaving the app and opening other ones. Or you could prevent a student taking a test from switching to other apps to get answers. Or it might help a student with poor coordination who needs to use a particular app stay in the app. You can block controls within the app as well, but I would imagine this has to be done visually, because as I understand it, you draw a line on the screen around the controls you want to block.
