Simon, if you have trouble holding the phone over a document, no app is going to give great resullts. I do not like KNFB Reader. You may want to consider getting a scanning stand. I love Voice Dream Scanner, but its way of letting you know if you have text in view is a tone that plays. The louder the tone, the more text. If you have it on auto-capture, once you are steady at the loudest tone for 2 or 3 seconds, it will take the picture. You want to be 10 to 12 inches above a full 8.5 by 11 document to get the best results. Supersense, tells you in words to move farther away, or 1 inch to the left, etc. Supersense has a free trial, and if you are convinced by it, right now it is haf price for a lifetime subscription for $49.99. Or there are monthly or yearly plans. Voice Dream Scanner on the other hand, is $5.99 one time purchase. They both have great points about them and Supersense is designed to deal with more objects than just text. You could also use the free Seeing AI app to scan a single page. Good luck.
