Hello, These instructions are created using IOS 14.2.
1. Open the Voice Memos app. Note: when you open the app you will likely be on the screen with the "record" button. If so, double tap the "back" button in the upper left corner to get to the main screen for the app. It will say "edit" then "Voice Memos heading". This screen has" - an "all recordings" button - a My Folders heading followed by a list of any folders you have already created. Each folder listed is a button. If you have not created any folders, this section will not be present. - a "recently deleted" folder that the app creates. - a "new folder" button 2. Double tap the "new folder" button and create a folder into which you want to store recordings. You will have a screen with an edit field into which you enter the folder name, a "cancel" button, and a "save" button. Double tap save. 3. After creating a folder, double tap the "all recordings" button to get a list of all your recordings. 4. On the "all recordings" screen, double tap the "edit" button at the top of the screen so you can "select" the file() you want to move. 5. Now flick right and double tap the title of each recording you want to move to the desired folder. Note: after double tapping, the file will be marked as "selected". 6. After slecting all the files you wish to move, flick to the bottom of the screen and double tap the "move" button. Note: there is a delete button beside the move button. Be careful. 7. You will be given a screen listing all of the folders in the Voice Memos app. Flick right to the folder you want to receive the files and double tap it. The "selected" files will be moved into the chosen folder. 8. You will be returned to the "all recordings screen that again lists ALL of your files. Note: Because you are in an "all recordings" list, it will look as though the files have not been moved but they have. There does not appear to be any flag in the "all recordings" list to tell you if a given file is already in a folder or not. 9. To double check the move, double tap the "back" button then double tap the folder button beside your chosen folder to get its list of files. i hope this is clear and helpful.
