I have to agree that once ads are gone it is a pretty accessible app. When there is an alert open the app and touch about a third of the way down the screen. It will say the alert and once double tapped it gives you all kinds of info. Make sure it is on the icon at the bottom that doesn't have a label which I think is the homepage for the app. It also has as you flick up with 3 fingers all kinds of info from weather news with videos to how much flu is in your area to whether it is good running weather.
