If you research best practices for an LI battery, you’ll find the best thing to do for long term health is shallow discharges, i.e. let it run down to 50% to 80% of it’s battery capacity and then top it off to get it back to 100%. I think whatever you do is OK though, but you do want to avoid letting it run all of the way down and then storing it for a long period of time. Letting an LI battery discharge all the way will damage the LI battery. This isn’t an issue when you use it all of the time since iPhones and other devices shutoff before the battery itself is fully discharged. Since an LI battery will continue to lose it’s charge even if it isn’t being used, you want to avoid storing it for any length of time after running it down all the way.
