Yes, Mary, it used to be more like when adding a number from the recent calls list. One trick I have used if it is someone you know won't mind a hang up, I dial the number, hang up on the first ring, then go to recent calls and add it from there. It is actually easier than all the stupid-a-- steps they make you do now in messages.
