Sadly, I do not think you will ever see expiration dates in barcones. Barcodes identify the general product, not that individual package. But you would probably have to contact the manufacturer to find out if something could be done. According to my wife, there is little consistancy of placement of expiration dates and it is hard for even sighted people to find them.
