I got an email from my insurance ID theft protection company about the security alerts and urging everyone to update. Yes, it may be a generic security flaw that always appears, or it could be something more important. Whatever the case, I figure since I got the email from my insurance company about the issue, and it appears the same news is on the national media, there must be something notable about 14.4 and the flaws it patches. This proves my personal motto that whenever Apple puts out an update, aside from the major .0 releases that is, it is a great idea to update since you never know what security issues or other odds and ins may be fixed.
