Hi,

This sounds like the Voiceover "activity" bug. Try:
1. Go to Settings/Accessibility/Voiceover/Activities
2. Double tap on the "Programming" activity
3. Double tap on the "verbosity" setting
4. Set "punctuation" to none

I am assuming you are running IOS 14.x. This should fix your problem. This is a
known bug but it would help if you report it to Apple. The more folk who do,
the higher the priority to fix it will rise.

/For years I have had VoiceOver set to speak zero punctuation and now I cannot
get that setting to work. Yes, I have punctuation selected in /rotor actions
and I have it set to “none.” In an attempt to solve this problem, I found the
Verbosity settings and set both active Punctuation Group and System Groups to
“None.”Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Sandy Clearly, this is not sufficient, as /vO is still driving me nuts reading
commas, periods and colons.

I tried to problem solvew t this, ut to no avail.
