Hello Arnold, I have called Apple on this, a while ago, and they had no explanation accept to tell me that there are various teams working on various parts of the iTunes stores that are not always in sync with each other..

Just so you know, once you purchase the complete series, it is added to your account so you can enjoy it on all of the Apple OS platforms. Just something I strongly suggest you keep in mind the next time you are interested in purchasing a complete series of a television show.
