I also find, that if I am having difficulties with voice stream taking things out of the app switcher does help. Everyone will think I am kind of silly, but I actually have a separate phone that I use instead of an iPad where I have read all of my books though so I don’t have to worry about interruptions on my main phone. I’ve also found that with my new sound bar it’s amazing because I can actually Bluetooth my phone in and listen to my books audio or synthesized and read to me over the surroundsound. Quite awesome.
