Sorry, I don't know what message you're referring to, so my responses make not make sense without that context. I don't find Car Play that useful. I thought it might come in handy when my wife and I were driving somewhere, and I could be the navigator using my iPhone and having it be the phone interacting with the car's system, but that didn't really work in practice. When my wife is driving, she doesn't want to see my phone's Car Play on the car's screen, she wants to see what she has on her own iPhone. I suppose if the driver isn't using their car's system at all then this could still be useful for you and the car's driver.
Note that I haven't used Car Play in a long time, but when I did play with it, I thought it was pretty usable with my iPhone and VoiceOver. AndroidAuto on the other hand didn't work at all with Talk Back. I'm not sure what you mean by screen mirroring but when talking about Chromecasting, this refers to having all of your devices audio, including your screen reader, being sent over to the other device. -- Christopher (AKA CJ) Chaltain at Outlook > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf > Of Fanus Buys > Sent: Saturday, February 27, 2021 8:57 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Apple CarPlay and AndroidAuto > > Hello list > Are there any ways that blind users can benefit from these car technologies? > Also, what is mirrorlink.
