Hello, The problem is your external keyboard. When you type on the bluetooth keyboard, the screen's keyboard is shut off. You can correct this problem is a few different ways. 1. Turn off the vluetooth keyboard and your problem will go away. 2. If you are using an apple keyboard for example, you can just hit the upper right most key. This will let you go back to the screen's keyboard.
