But generally no, I’d personally suggest going to your local retailer and have a look / play with an iPhone with no home button, But generally it’s pretty easy, However, I do find myself tapping the screen on my se to unlock it, when I need to press the home button to wake it up. That’s however what you get when you have both an 11 and an se 2nd edition.
