you probably are signed up under your Apple ID, so go to settings, and at the top, double tap on your name, then flick right over to subscriptions. It should be there, where you can cancel the subscription. I find that when I have trouble with the ad screens, I take youtube out of the app switcher and try again and it usually works. Kind of a pain. But, I too do not want to subscribe.
