I'm not sure which recording apps other than Just Press Record offer transcription. It is done after the recording is finished I think. It is $4.99. Since I already have it, if you point me to a program you want I'll see if I can download and import the file and see how it does with it.

I do not intend to speak directly into a device for transcription but will take what I want transcribed from a recording. It's possible,if I have to, that I could repeat what I hear while wearing ear hones but I fear transcription programs cant' receive information that fast. There are some science programs I want transcriptions for, at least some sections of them, and there is no way I could type out what I hear for such long interviews, shows, podcasts.
