Hi Jen, If you still need some assistance with your AirPods, let me know. What you do is just tap on the top of the AirPod to activate controls. You can use them just like any other wired or Bluetooth headphones. Tap once to make a call, twice to play and so on. If you go to settings, Bluetooth and then your AirPods, flick up on that before you open it, and there are some nice things you can configure in there. Hope this helps,
