Where is the online converter you mention and does it also do the transfer
to the phone? Never heard of this before.

YouTube is a great place to find all kinds of music. I love heavy
metal and have made more than 100 heavy metal ring tones. When I find
the song on YouTube, I copy the URL and put it into an online YouTube
to MP3 converter. I then download the MP3 file and fire up the program
MP3 Direct Cut. I can make countless edits and it does not recode the
file and diminish the sound quality. I like that it allows for fades.
After I have 30 seconds of audio, I upload the file to an online
converter to put it in the M4R format. The M4R file is then downloaded
and copied to my iPhone. Apple backs up ringtones to iCloud so I will
never lose them.
The music is iconic, unique, and catches the attention of everyone in the
room.

I think it was fine for Joshua to do that. There are enough rings on
