Hello Alan, Richard and list.

An update to my earlier post on getting pdf files into Supersense.

Now that my PC has condescended to talk to me I can clarify my earlier post.

Launch Supersense and choose the Import Image or PDF option.

Now select Import PDF.

Voiceover should announce “browse back”.

Focus should be on the Back Button which you should double-tap.

Focus should now be on a Cancel Button.

Swipe right and double-tap the More Button.

Focus should be on a button called Connect to Server.

Swipe right until you get to the Edit Button and double-tap this.

Swipe right and you will have a Locations heading.

If you continue to swipe right you will have a list of sources you can choose.

On my iPhone iCloud Drive is the first option and swiping right tells me it is
currently on.

Continue swiping right you should reach Dropbox.

Once you’ve reached Dropbox, swipe right and it will probably tell you that it
is currently off.

Double-tap to turn it on.

Swipe left until you reach the Done Button and double-tap it.

Dropbox should now be added to the locations from which you can import a PDF.

Brad,

Thanks for that suggestion. I considered it might be an option but was looking
for other approaches since I've already saved the original attachment to my
Dropbox folder using my computer. It is good to know that I can fire up my
email app on my iPhone, find the source message with the attachment, and send
it to Supersense using the Share sheet. I'll give that a try in a bit.

Alan,

This may be more easily done when the PDF file is an email attachment, rather
than a file in a dropbox folder.

Once you have accessed the file, and have it open on your iPhone, you should
find super sense in the share sheet. If not you should be able to add it to the
share sheet.

Hi List,

I'll admit up front that I'm a bit old school and prefer using my desktop
computer to do most of my email. I often get scanned PDF image files that I
want to run OCR on while preserving as much formatting as possible. I will save
these attachment images to an applicable Dropbox folder on my computer so I can
still access them with my iPhone SE 2020. I know I can use Voice Dream
Reader/Scanner to get the text read to me from these image PDFs but I want to
see how Supersense handles them. I've been unable to figure out how to do this
with Supersense so I'm asking the experts here.

I know Supersense has an import option but I could find no way using it to
access files in a Dropbox folder. I also tried going to the Dropbox app on my
iPhone and attempting to share the particular file with Supersense but couldn't
figure out how to do it. Even if Supersense has a way to import files in a
Dropbox folder, I'm not sure it will allow me to share the post OCR version
back to Dropbox.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.
