I'm truly wishing we had an option to have it not start already scanning. I personally would rather launch the app, then choose which feature I want to use before it starts scanning the world.
Especially if it is going to tell me there is a $10 bill laying around, grin. But seriously, I have to stop it and then choose the feature I want. My absolute preference would be that it opens up to the list of features and when you select the one you want, it starts scanning. If this was a choice, then those who want it to start scanning immediately could make that choice and those of us who want to pick the feature and then have it scan could make that choice.
