Since, a while back I brought up a dialogue about using AirPod max outdoors, in
public and away from home. There are issues that have been discussed. That
said, I have done some introspection, and decided to make use of my AirPod pros
again.
What I find, is that there are steps that can be taken to keep the device
from being lost should they fall out of the ear. One search device are the ear
clips, which I have found that I cannot absolutely cannot stand, they are
probably better for me, because I don’t tend to stick the AirPods tightly into
my ears. That is the problem for me, I love my bass and if The AirPods are not
sitting firmly in the ear canal, you lose base response. I feel like I lose
some already compared to the AirPod max. VE other option is the little straps
that you can buy to go around your neck to secure The devices from falling
completely off. Be careful with this option though, as there are two options
out there on Amazon. Choose the more expensive option, the less expensive
option seems to be incompatible with the pro version of the AirPods. Something
about where they sit on the stem. The $12.95 option seems to be compatible with
the AirPod pros.
Another aspect of the virtues of the AirPod pro, is that you can wear any type
of hat, and you don’t have to remove the device to put on mask mask. That’s
something that’s really convenient. Will I use my max less now, probably so.
And to me, I’m not so sure that justifies the price. But I have them, and I
will keep them for here at home. I can still use them for trips outside, where
I don’t have to confront traffic, and I can quickly move inside should
inclement weather present itself. So all in all I think I love both devices,
and they both have their pros and cons. Another con of the AirPod max before I
forget is also weather. In terms of heat, they are hot on the head just a
little bit, due to their weight. So in closing again I do love both devices.
