I’ve learned to view anything like that as spam. I’ve been getting one that begins, “Someone has tried to log into your account.” I was pretty sure it was a spam, and then, when it came several times, knew for sure1 On one hand, these guys are getting sneakier; on the other, I sometimes go, “They must think we’re stupid! They’re re-attempting a false message we’ve already responded to by deleting, and that we’ve received many, many times without falling for.”
