What about the wrap-around kind, where instead of going over your head, they wrap around behind your head? Try searching for that term, or calling a store, even Amazon customer support, and describing what you want, so they can tell you what they carry that might work foh you.

I have an older pair of Plantronics Beat Sense that are both wired and bluetooth. They were listed at $200 5 or 6 years ago when my wife found them for $130. Then there are the AfterShokz bone conduction headsets that leave your ears open and press on the bone just in front of your ear. If you search for stereo bluetooth headsets or bluetooth over the head headsets, you can find lots that do not go in the ear.
