As you probably know by now, PostMates was bought by Uber and  linked to Uber 
Eats. Within the last few days, they have come out with a completely new app. I 
have yet to determine whether I think it is better or worse, just different. As 
for your situation, if I got a message like you got, I would just cancel it, 
lose your current unlimited subscription, and start over. When I have had 
problems with them in the past, and there haven't been many, I have found it 
easier to log onto their web site and straighten out those problems, rather 
than through the app. Logging into that site  can be  tricky, you have to log 
on by entering your phone number, then typing in the code you are sent, but it 
can be done.
