I just use the default calendar app. I tried Fantastical and loved it under version 2. Then they went and made version 3 which I guess if you do not subscribe to their highway robbery pricing package, you can still use it mostly; but the native calendar app has improved greatly.
I can easily set appointments either manually or with Siri. I can set custom reoccurrences with up to two alerts. I can easily invite others to a meeting. I have it syncing with my Outlook so I can check my computer or my phone. I can add notes as desired. I have no cons at this point for my needs.
