There are some tiles with replaceable batteries. I got mine last summer and have replaced the batteries once.

But, AirTags have a replaceable battery, which unless they have changed, Tiles did not. I would like someone to do a comparison of the sound volume. When Tiles were fairly new, I thought they would be a great thing for some of our older clients, but the sound was so low volume they were next to useless. It seems from the demo at the Apple Event, that you can track them more accurately than the Tiles. That is all I know, and guess.
