You can simply connect your iPhone to your Alexa speaker via Bluetooth and the speaker will act like any other Bluetooth speaker. In order to do this you can use the Alexa app to put your Echo in pairing mode or you can just say "Alexa, connect". It will most likely say it's searching and maybe after a while that it couldn't find anything to connect to, but if you have Settings > Bluetooth open on your iPhone you should see the Echo at the bottom of your list of devices and tapping on it should connect to it.
