Wasn't there a device at one time with a suction cup one could stick on
a specific part of the phone, like the receiver to record a phone call.
I recall in my distant dark past having one though I preferred to attach
alligator clips to a part of the phone which allowed me to use my
recorder both for recording and as a fancy speaker phone.
Damn, that was almost 50 years ago; the joys of being a t eenager.

recording, but I have never used them because if I am going to record a call, I
would put the call on speaker and use a different device for recording.
