I used to use Authenticator and it's fine, but there is also the Microsoft Authenticator and the Google Authenticator apps. I now use Microsoft Authenticator and it is also very accessible, but I think Google Authenticator is as well and if I am not mistaken I read somewhere that Apple has released one as well. I am more invested in the Microsoft eco system with a personal Microsoft 365 Home subscription as well as Microsoft 365 business subscriptions and I have all my Outlook.com accounts set up for 2-factor authentication so for me the Microsoft Authenticator app works well, but they all essentially do the same thing.
