Yes, most voiceover users are having this problem. There is 2 work arounds for this problem. 1st, the 2 finger scrub gesture works to return you to the previous page. 2nd, if you have an iPhone 10 or newer, toggling on Screen Recognition & tapping in the upper left corner will return you to the previous page. Don't forget to turn SR off once you are back to where you want to be.
